Celia is a very pretty short-haired tortie, we aren't sure of her age but our vets think she could be around 8 years.

 

Celia came to us a couple of weeks ago, after she was seen outside staggering, with badly injured ears.  no one has come forwards to claim Celia, so we are now looking to find a wonderful new home for her.

Her ears have been surgically repaired, and the tissue that was removed has been sent to pathology for analysis in the hope we can get some idea of what happened to this poor girl.

Sadly our vets also found that she had been shot with an air riffle, but the decision was taken to leave the pellet where it is rather than cause her more discomfort by operating.

Celia really wants to be loved and fussed, but we are having to take it very slowly, because touching her in the wrong place can cause her to react.

We can't imagine what she has been through, or what monsters lurk in her memories, so we are letting Celia decide what she needs.

​

We are looking for a really quiet home where she can continue to heal at her own pace. She could potentially share with another kind, gentle cat but there must be no children please.
